A Seat at the Copacabana

This mini exhibit explores the Copacabana artifact, as an exploratory tool to uncover the past history and culture of the space, and what it looks like now. The introductory videos set the scene for the environment at the Copacabana Supper Club, and the two closing videos look at the club as it exists today in Times Square. In between is the place setting that combines the artifact alongside found images highlighting the history through videos, the culture through the menu and design, and the food through recipes that can be used to cook with original menu items.
